The Biden administration is currently considering ways to pursue the reform of the United States tax system, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki (pictured) stated on Monday.
President Joe Biden thinks that the middle-class families are paying “more than their fair share of taxes” while “those at the top are not doing their part,” the spokeswoman said. This means that “corporations could be paying higher taxes,” she asserted.
Additionally, Psaki noted that the initial purpose of the state and local funding from the $1.9 trillion relief bill was to fund essential services and that “it wasn’t intended to cut taxes.”
