World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated on Thursday that the WHO is expected to do a follow-up on their COVID-19 origins report, which was released earlier in the week.
Speaking at a news conference, Tedros said that “engagements” over their report are to start as soon as possible and that the organization will likely conduct a second phase of their investigation into the origins of the coronavirus.
After the report was released Tuesday, the WHO director was critical of China over the lack of access to data to study the origins of the virus. China has denied these claims.
