- DTE Energy (DTE +0.6%) says it started commercial operation of three wind farms in Michigan with a combined capacity of 455 MW.
- Two of the three new wind parks, Isabella I and Isabella II, are now Michigan’s largest and have a combined 136 turbines with a capacity of 383 MW; the third park, Fairbanks Wind, is located in the state’s Upper Peninsula and has 21 turbines with a capacity of 72 MW.
- Including the three new plants, DTE says it has 18 wind parks and 31 solar farms totaling 1,760 MW, enough to power 670K homes.
- The company says it plans to add six more clean energy projects by the end of 2022, bringing its renewable energy generation capacity to 2,700 MW.
- DTE Energy has consistently delivered earnings growth over the past 12 years, including through the pandemic, Power Hedge writes in a neutral analysis posted on Seeking Alpha.
