The consensus is that 388,000 peoplesigned an unemployment insurance contract last week, with the requestscontinuous showing a small drop in relation to the previous number. The dataof ADP jobs yesterday showed that the US created more jobs than theexpected in the month, while economists surveyed by Bloomberg expect thatthe number of tomorrow’s payrolls jumps by more than 700,000.
Oil meeting
OPEC and its allies will decide today on production levels for the nextmonths, with clear disagreement before the meeting between Russia that wants to open thetaps and Saudi Arabia seeking a more cautious approach. PossibleOffer increases are being discussed for August or September, the minister said.of Kazakhstan Energy, Nurlan Nogaev, told reporters. On the market today, oilis trading above $74 a barrel, the highest level since 2018, withanalysts expecting more increases unless OPEC+ offers a big andsurprising increase in production
