EURUSD : For the first time since 8 June, the euro tested the region of 1,226 on thisTuesday, while the currency remains supported by hopes of a strong recoveryas well as the weakness of the dollar.
DXY : In contrast, the DXY index hit a new 4-month low at 89.54, beforeto reverse some of its losses to return to the 89.9 region, pressured by aincrease in risk apettite in the world. Investors now anticipate PCE inflation data,personal consumption, GDP, durable goods demanded by unemployment insurance that must bereleased this week.

Gold : Extending its gains for the ninth consecutive session, the metal reached its pointhigher in more than 4 months, at USD 1895 an ounce, while treasury yields continueto retract and also supported by a negative sentiment around the dollar
Indexes
Wall Street : Major US indices returned most of their earningsfrom the start of the session to return to near your opening points. YouFed officials Lael Brainard, Raphael Bostic and James Bullard reiterated that theincrease in prices must be only temporary and affirmed their support for maintaining theaccommodative monetary policy for some time.
Europe : European indices were close to record highs today, with DAX30 closing at around 15480, after economic data showed that moralein Germany reached its highest level in two years, easily surpassingthe expectations.
Germany Ifo Business Climate Index : Rising to 99.2 in May 2021 compared,from the previous month’s revised value of 96.6, business morale easily surpassedexpectations of 98.2, reaching its highest level since May 2019, sincecompanies were more satisfied with their current business situation (95.7 vs 94.2in April) and also more optimistic about the coming months (102.9 vs 99.2). At theservices sector, the index rose to 13.7, its highest value since February 2020,due to much more optimistic expectations; while in trade, it jumped to 8.4, thehighest since April 2019. Sentiment also improved among manufacturers (25.7 vs25.1 in April) and builders (2.8 vs 0.7)
