The inflation rate ofEurozone reached its highest level in 10 years in the month of August which ledsome policymakers to raise hawkish comments this week.
DXY: In contrast, the dollar index was trading near lows of 4weeks, close to 92.2, while investors await payroll data that will bereleased tomorrow in order to have a clearer view of the market recovery ofWork.

Gold: On a falling day, but remaining close to four-week highs,gold was trading around USD 1810 an ounce.

United States Initial Jobless Claims: The number of Americans who filednew claims for unemployment insurance dropped to 340,000 in the week ended 28 FebruaryAugust, its lowest level since March 2020 and below expectations of 345,000,as the labor market consolidated its recovery after the reopening ofcompanies in the US and despite persistent concerns about the continued resurgence of theCOVID-19.
