EMA to decide on J&J’s virus vaccine on March 11

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced on Tuesday it would review whether it would approve the use of Johnson & Johnson’s (J&J) vaccine against COVID-19 on March 11.

The statement comes after the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the jab for emergency use.

Meanwhile, German Health Minister Jens Spahn said he expected his country to approve J&J’s vaccine “soon.”
