French Prime Minister Jean Castex (pictured) said on Tuesday that the country is going through “what looks like a… third wave” of the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking before the National Assembly, he pointed out that mass vaccination, even though it is specifically targeted in the initial stages, “will allow” France “to emerge from” the pandemic.
In addition, Castex urged the citizens to, “now more than ever,” respect the coronavirus prevention guidelines which have helped France fight the pandemic for a year.
