The French Public Health Agency informed on Tuesday the country registered 29,975 new COVID-19 cases and 408 coronavirus-related deaths over the past day.
The latest update pushed the total tally to 4.1 million cases and nearly 92,000 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
Commenting on the growing daily figures, Prime Minister Jean Castex argued earlier today that France is going through “what looks like a… third wave” of the pandemic.
