Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova (pictured) condemned on Thursday United States President Joe Biden’s comments regarding Russian leader Vladimir Putin, but stressed that Moscow isn’t looking to escalate the situation with Washington further.
“To go ahead with destruction and to put a spoke in the wheel is certainly not a strategy or tactic that Russia opts for,” the official said, adding that Kremlin is preparing to carry out a “large-scale work to inventory bilateral relations.”
In an interview yesterday, Biden stated that he thinks Putin is a killer and that Russia “will pay a price” for meddling in US elections.
