The Biden administration has set the middle of May as a date to start relaxing some of the travel restrictions introduced in order to curb the spread of COVID-19, CNBC reported on Thursday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
The easement of measures would include passengers from Canada, Mexico, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, the report added.
“There is going to be a sea change in mid-May when vaccines are more widely available to everyone,” the outlet quoted one of its sources.
