{"id":1513,"date":"2021-07-06T12:30:29","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T15:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wintrademarkets.com\/news\/?p=1513"},"modified":"2021-07-06T12:30:32","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T15:30:32","slug":"gbpusd-breaks-below-its-100-hour-moving-average-and-trades-to-new-lows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wintrademarkets.com\/new\/2021\/07\/06\/gbpusd-breaks-below-its-100-hour-moving-average-and-trades-to-new-lows\/","title":{"rendered":"GBPUSD breaks below its 100 hour moving average and trades to new lows"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">100 hour moving average at 1.3167<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The GBPUSD took the clues from the technicals after early support near the 38.2% retracement held and the price rebounded back above its 200 hour moving average at 1.38515 (green line &#8211; see earlier\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forexlive.com\/technical-analysis\/!\/gbpusd-moves-up-and-it-moves-back-down-in-an-up-and-down-session-20210706\" target=\"_blank\">post here<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/az705044.vo.msecnd.net\/20210706\/2021-07-06_7-33-50.jpg\" alt=\"100 hour moving average at 1.3167_\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The price moved back below its 200 hour moving average, and then the swing area\/38.2% retracement near 1.3828 to 138334.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>That move has now continued with the break of the 100 hour moving average at 1.38167.\u00a0 Recall from yesterday&#8217;s trade, that moving average held support before moving higher.
